Work of the heart. Art of the hands. Women of Ghana.
One woman, standing in her power, fully aware of her wholeness, can change the world by the work of the heart and art of the hands. Here at Tranquille we feel inspired and grateful to offer this remarkable hand-processed butter.
The women of Ghana hand process the shea nuts from beginning to end according to their native ways. This factory is the vision of a woman of Ghana to give back to her community that has nurtured her. It now provides other women employees with fair-trade year round work, regular guaranteed income, plus medical and other benefits to enable them to sustain their families and make a viable living.
An extraordinary blend of over 80% organic shea butter from Ghana is whipped with organic virgin coconut cream oil, mango butter, light coconut oil, Vitamin E, along with skin nurturing botanical extracts of rose, calendula, chamomile, red clover, elder flower, and white willow bark. Our essential oil blend mingles gently with the organic shea butter. Red mandarin, coriander, vanilla oleoresin is added with a hint of rosewood (renewable source), lavender and vetiver.
Connecting our hands with their hands, we are grateful to be one of the links to help the vision come to life for a community in Africa. This makes a lovely gift to you or someone special in your life. As with all good things, pass it on, and pay it forward.
